Moto3 had absolute dominance from Maximo Quiles in Jerez, with the Spaniard securing pole with a wide margin. Racing at home, he was the only one to set an unreachable pace in the session.

The result is striking due to the difference to his rivals, something rare in the category. Adapting to the dry track was decisive for the superior performance of the Aspar team rider.
Quiles clocked 1:44.070 and opened up more than three tenths over David Muñoz, who returned from injury already securing second position. Alvaro Carpe completed the front row, but was more than half a second behind the pole-sitter, highlighting the leader’s dominance.
“It was a very strong lap and I felt comfortable from the start,” indicated the Spaniard’s performance, who was always ahead. The dry track after wet conditions in the morning contributed to larger time differences, uncommon in Moto3.

The second row also had a strong Spanish presence, with Joel Esteban in fourth, followed by rookie Brian Uriarte. Adrian Fernandez closed the group in sixth position, tied in time with Uriarte, despite suffering a crash in Q2 that limited his progress.
In the third row appear Joel Kelso, David Almansa, and Matteo Bertelle, while Hakim Danish completed the top 10. With a more spaced-out grid than usual, the race promises intense battles, but with Quiles as the main reference after a dominant qualifying session.
