Diogo Moreira had to make a recovery race at the Brazilian GP of MotoGP. This sunny Sunday (22) in Goiânia, the Brazilian needed to climb the grid and, in the end, crossed the finish line in xx.

In his first race running in front of his home crowd, the LCR Honda driver already started the weekend well. In the Sprint race, he crossed the finish line in tenth place after starting in 14th.
Already this Sunday, the scenario was a little different. Again lining up in the fifth row, as soon as the lights went out, the Brazilian ended up dropping to 19th place.
During the 23 laps – the race had to be shortened by eight laps -, he had to row to gain ground. With overtakes and taking advantage of crashes ahead of him, he quickly placed himself inside the top-15.

Then, managing to advance a little more during the race, in the end he received the checkered flag in 13th place, finishing inside the top 15 and scoring points again in the 2026 MotoGP season.
The third round of the 2026 MotoGP season takes place next week with the United States GP, at the Circuit of the Americas between March 27-29.
