MotoGP had the definition of the starting grid for the Austrian GP, the 15th round of the 2026 season held at the Red Bull Ring, on the morning of this Saturday (19). The two championship leaders will start from the first two positions in both the Sprint and the main race. Jorge Martín, with Aprilia, recorded 1min27s917 and takes the pole position, beating Marc Márquez by 0.015 seconds, who is second with Ducati.

The front row of the starting grid for the Austrian round will also feature Pedro Acosta, KTM rider who dominated Friday’s free practice sessions. The only Brazilian on the grid of the main category of world motorcycling, Diogo Moreira, will start from the sixth row, in 16th position, with a Honda prepared by the LCR team.

The MotoGP Austrian GP Sprint race will take place this Saturday, starting at 10 a.m. The main race will be held on Sunday, starting at 9 a.m.
