Felipe Malinowski will have a different weekend in Curvelo (MG). The HB20 Cup driver will make his first appearance in NASCAR Brazil at this weekend’s event, taking over the car from Ricardo Zonta, who will not be able to compete in the round due to personal reasons.
The debut also brings another challenge for Malinowski: it will be his first contact with an oval circuit. Until now, this type of track has not been part of his career, which adds a new experience to the driver’s path.
Even with the category change, Malinowski will continue with his schedule in the HB20 Cup. The driver is having a good season and currently occupies fourth place in the Pro category, balancing the championship fight with his debut in NASCAR Brazil.

The opportunity also marks another step in Malinowski’s career, who has already been part of the Shell Academy, one of the most renowned motorsport driver schools in the world. Now, he faces a new challenge by replacing Zonta in Curvelo.
