One of the highlights at the Curvelo (MG) oval in 2025 with second place, Cacá Bueno showed that he remains among the fastest drivers in 2026 during the practice sessions that opened the NASCAR Brazil schedule at the Circuito dos Cristais. The Team RC driver ended the day in fourth place by finishing the session with a time of 29.705 seconds.

“It was a very productive day for us. It’s a circuit that, despite being short and tricky, has some undulations. Some paths you have to take and we finished in fourth place overall, very close to everyone, but here everything is very close. One tenth from the top, but also one tenth behind would drop you from fourth to behind tenth,” says Cacá, who has 94 points and is sixth in the championship.

Even though it was still the first day of practice, Cacá believes that his car has already shown to be faster compared to what he had in the previous stage, in Londrina (PR).

“The car behaved well, it’s better than it was in Londrina, the engine improved a bit and the balance is good, so we are confident and excited, but nothing is guaranteed. We will keep working,” concludes Cacá, who is sponsored by Betnacional, Capital Concreto, PicPay, ACDelco, SpeedMax Pneus, Pneu Store, Milwaukee, Turbi, and Chevrolet.
The NASCAR Brazil activities continue with the second session at 10:10 on Saturday and on the same day the qualifying takes place, scheduled for 15:15. Race 1 is held at 9 in the morning and race 2 is scheduled for 14:10. SBT, ESPN, Disney+, and YouTube broadcast the stage.
