With titles won in every season he competed in NASCAR Brazil, Gabriel Casagrande opens the 2026 competition dreaming of new triumphs. The AMattheis Vogel team driver highlights the return of the Santa Cruz do Sul (RS) circuit to the map of one of the main national championships.

“For me, Santa Cruz do Sul offers one of the best layouts we have in our country, so it’s very good to go back there. We are starting another season very excited to maintain this sequence of good results and achievements in NASCAR Brazil,” says Casagrande, who has sponsorships from Baterias Júpiter, Axalta, OnPetro, STP, Cresol, RP Info, UFI Filters, Chevrolet and OMP.
Three-time NASCAR Special Edition champion, Casagrande comes off an impressive final stretch last season with five wins and seven podiums in the nine Special Edition races, being crowned with the title in the finale, in Interlagos. The driver from Paraná also holds the 2024 overall title on his resume.

“We hope to be able to start 2026 the same way we finished last year in NASCAR Brazil. We know that now we are going to develop a new car, lighter and more powerful, but we are well prepared for this further challenge,” Casagrande adds.
NASCAR Brazil activities begin this Friday starting at 16h25 with the first free practice. Activities continue on Saturday at 9h15 with the second session. Qualifying is scheduled for 12h35 on the same day and will be followed by the Sprint race at 13h15. Sunday’s schedule includes two more races, at 8h30 and 14h20. The category will be broadcast on SBT, ESPN, Disney+ and YouTube.
