TCR: Cardoso and Pernía set the same time in TL1 in Cascavel

The first free practice session of the second stage of the 2026 TCR South America and TCR Brasil season, which took place early Friday afternoon (27th) in Cascavel (PR), had an impressive result. Brazilian Pedro Cardoso and Argentine Leonel Pernía, the current champion, finished the session with the same time: 1min04s383. Cardoso drives a Cupra Leon VZ from G Racing Motorsport, while Pernía guides a Honda Civic Type R FL5 for the official team of the Japanese manufacturer.

TCR holds another free practice session still on Friday, at 16h00. Tomorrow qualifying takes place at 12h00, followed by Race 1, which is scheduled to start at 15h30. On Sunday, activities end with Race 2 at 14h10.
