The 2025 Carrera Rookie champion, who this year competes in the competitive Sport class, noticed several upgrades to his machine compared to the season-opening stage at Interlagos.
And he noted that one of the challenges of the stage will be physical.
With tight corners, short straights and changes in elevation, Velocitta is the track with the fewest straight sections on the calendar. Thus, with heavy braking and many direction changes, the driver is practically working all the time in search of fractions of seconds.
This characteristic, combined with temperatures around 30ºC in the afternoon of this Thursday, raise the alert for the stage.

Friday will have two more practice sessions and on Saturday the track will open with qualifying in the morning. In the afternoon, race 1 takes place and the second race will be held in the early afternoon on Saturday.
The races are broadcast live on Band and Bandsports channels, as well as official digital platforms of the Porsche Cup.
What he said:
“I felt my car more in hand in this extra training and I’m happy with the performance, especially with the brakes. It’s probably the best car I’ve ever driven, which leaves me excited for the weekend. It will be a very exhausting stage, as we’re dealing with high temperatures and the Velocitta track keeps the driver working all the time. We’ll continue to evolve the equipment on Friday, to try to qualify well and have a productive weekend”
