The rivalry between Brazil and Argentina will gain another chapter, this time on the tracks, on July 25 and 26, at the Velocitta Racetrack in Mogi Guaçu (SP). The Bradesco TCR Brazil arrives at the decisive stage with two protagonists fighting for the title: the Brazilian Raphael Reis, championship leader with 228 points, and the Argentine Leonel Pernía, vice-leader with 225. The difference of only three points turns the last two races of the season into a direct decision for the national title.

The Brazilians Enzo Gianfratti, with 149 points, and Pedro Cardoso, 143, third and fourth in the championship, respectively, still have mathematical chances but depend on poor results from the leaders to reach the title.
Pernía has an even more representative mission: to be the first Argentine champion in the Brazilian category. In the last three years, since the national championship was implemented, only Brazilians have won the title: Nelson Piquet Jr. (2025), Pedro Cardoso (2024), and Galid Osman (2023).
Representing W2 Pro GP, Raphael Reis took the lead after winning the Super Challenge stage, held in Interlagos in April, and arrives at Velocitta depending only on his own results to win the national title. Throughout the championship, the Brasília native showed consistency, achieving victories, podiums, and important points even on the toughest weekends.
On the other side is one of the biggest names in South American motorsport. Leonel Pernía, Honda Racing driver and current Bradesco TCR South America champion, started the season winning in Curvelo and lost the lead after Interlagos. With only three points behind, the Argentine enters the decisive stage needing to surpass Raphael Reis to lift the Bradesco TCR Brazil trophy.

Besides the fierce battle in the drivers’ championship, the Brazil vs. Argentina duel also happens among the teams. Two teams fight for the season title: the Brazilian W2 Pro GP is the current leader with 228 points, eight more than the Argentine team Honda Racing, which has 347, precisely the teams of Raphael Reis and Leonel Pernía, respectively.
Trophy Cup
Although the overall Bradesco TCR Brazil title is still open, the Argentine Adrian Chiriano has already been able to celebrate in Cuiabá the conquest of the Trophy class, intended for developing drivers and competitors who do not compete professionally full-time in motorsport. Chiriano scored 98 points against 43 from the Uruguayan Enrique Maglione to secure the victory. The Argentine equals the Brazilian Enzo Gianfratti, champion in 2025, Maglione himself, who won the Trophy in 2024, and the Brazilian Guilherme Reischl, who won the title in 2023.
