Marçal Müller will start from pole position in the Porsche Cup at Velocitta. In the hot and sunny qualifying held this Saturday (28), with a time of 1in28s046, the driver of Porsche #544 will start first in race 1 of the second stage.

Just 0s243 behind the leader, Lucas Salles starts from the front row in Mogi Guaçu. Alceu Feldmann Neto, Antonella Bassani and Matheus Comparatto round out the starting top-5.
In the Sport class, Alceu Feldmann starts from the position of honor on the grid, with José Moura Neto lining up first in the Rookie class.
The start of race 1 of the Porsche Cup at Velocitta is scheduled to take place this Saturday, 28, at 13h50 Brasília time.

Session started at the circuit in Mogi Guaçu and the heat was present in the session. The thermometer indicated 26ºC with the asphalt reaching 30ºC and humidity around 72% – the sky was blue without clouds.
The first group to leave the pits was the Rookie class. As soon as the clock was started, the drivers did not take long to leave the pitlane for the first installation laps.
In the first minutes, Edu Guedes had a small scare with a wobble of the car, but soon controlled it to continue with the timed laps. Then, at the end of the first laps, André Gaidzinski clocked 1min38s2.
Subsequently, times dropped even further and Wagner Pontes was already in the 1min35s3 range. But it was still quite far from what would be the mark for both the class pole position and to try to get into the top-10.
The minutes passed and, in the end, José Moura Neto set a blistering time of 1min29s713, a mark with the potential to place among the ten fastest. Pipo Massa and Leo Sanchez followed right after the competitor.
At the end of the Rookie class, it was Moura Neto who had the best time. But it was not yet possible to secure the pole, as there would still be more sessions until the top-10.
Then, the Carrera Cup Sport began. Competitors would have 15 minutes to complete their laps and try to beat the Rookie opponents for a chance to fight for pole position.

After the first laps, Sebá Malucelli was the one who took the temporary first place – with the intense heat and track conditions, the tires were degrading significantly at Velocitta.
As the session progressed, Israel Salmen was the first to get close to the top of the table and ‘interfere’ with the Rookie times by recording 1min29s756. However, with five minutes to the checkered flag, Gustavo Zanon was the session leader with 1min29s377, beating Moura Neto’s time by 0s336.
With the Sport session over, Alceu Feldmann with a time of 1min29s575, Salmen, Zanon, Lineu Pires and Leonardo Herrmann completed the top five positions. All the top ten positions were composed of Sport drivers, with Moura Neto from Rookie in 11th, thus taking the class pole.
It was the turn of the general Carrera Cup competitors to take to the track for their fast laps to place among the ten fastest to fight for pole position. At this moment, the time to beat at minimum was Rodrigo Mello’s, in tenth, with 1min29s709.
Miguel Mariotti was a driver who had a scare when the rear end ‘fishtailed’, but the competitor managed to control it, despite losing time.
In the final minutes, fast times began to appear on the table, with Marçal Müller leading the way with 1min28s342, followed by Thiago Vivacqua, Matheus Comparatto, Alceu Feldmann and Miguel Paludo placing in the top-5.
Checkered flag and the ten drivers going to the top-10 to fight for pole position at Velocitta are Müller, Vivacqua, Comparatto, Antonella Bassani, Mariotti, Alceu Feldmann Neto, Jeff Giassi, Lucas Salles, Pietro Fantin and Feldmann, the only one from Sport.
After the first laps made in the final minutes of Porsche Cup qualifying at Velocitta, Feldmann Neto was the fastest with 1min28s343, with Giassi in second just over 0s3 behind the leader.
The clock ran out and the drivers were on their final laps. Now it was Marçal who led the pack with 1min28s046, 0s243 ahead of Salles in second. Feldmann Neto, Bassani and Comparatto completed the top five positions.
Checkered flag and nothing else changed in Mogi Guaçu. For race 1 of the Porsche Cup at Velocitta, Müller is the one starting from pole position, while Salles shares the front row with the driver on the track that is considered the ‘Brazilian Monaco’ for its tight characteristics.
