Clean sweep. Marçal Müller swept the start of the Porsche Cup round in Interlagos and in race 1 this Saturday (28) in Interlagos, the driver took advantage of pole position to secure a lights-to-flag victory.

In the Sport class, Sebá Malucelli crossed the finish line in first place, finishing sixth overall. In the Rookie class, in his first Porsche Cup race, Pipo Massa was the one who triumphed.
The race started and Marçal managed to maintain first place, but feeling pressure from Salles and Vivacqua. Further back, Leonardo Sanchez made a mistake and went off track, onto the grass.
Meanwhile, within the top 10, Miguel Paludo, who had problems in qualifying, began to climb through the field and was in an exciting battle with Antonella Bassani. It turns out that shortly after, the greatest Porsche Cup champion took a hit from Lineu Pires, falling to 13th place.
Still in the opening minutes, a safety car was necessary due to Sanchez’s retirement. In the replay, Pietro Fantin was the one who caused Leonardo’s retirement.
Restart authorized and Müller managed to maintain first place, with Salles, Vivacqua, Sebá Malucelli, and Matheus Comparatto completing the top five positions. Now, with 19 minutes to go, drivers were cleared to use the Boost.
Pipo Massa was performing well. Son of Felipe and making his motorsport debut, the young driver was leading the Rookies – the driver of the #19 Porsche already had a piece of loose fairing.
Fantin then received a drive-through penalty for the contact with Leo Sanchez. The driver would have to pass through the pits.

The order in the race had Müller leading the pack, followed by Salles, Vivacqua, Comparatto, and Malucelli. Leading in Sport was Sebá and in Rookie it was still Pipo.
Something quite notable is that Marçal was 1.6s ahead in first place and had not used any Boost yet. The driver was controlling the pace significantly.
Just over five minutes to the checkered flag and a new safety car was necessary. This time it was because of Paulo Sousa, whose car stopped, but shortly after, he managed to return to the track.
Race restarted in Interlagos and Marçal managed to maintain first place, despite Vivacqua’s good pace. Further back, Antonella ended up losing her position to Alceu Feldmann and Paludo.
In a fight for position, Alceu touched Miguel, who had to go wide and lost positions. Antonella took the opportunity to leave her opponent behind, with both side-by-side, but the competitor using the Boost managed to pull away.
Checkered flag and Müller takes the first victory of 2026. Salles, Vivacqua, Comparatto, and Giassi complete the podium positions.
