Marçal Müller was the one who secured both pole positions for the Porsche Cup stage at Interlagos. In the wet qualifying this Saturday (5), he set the two best laps of the pack to guarantee a positive result.

The day started with heavy rain at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace. Because of this, the timed session had to be not only delayed but also unified into just one session to define two grids.
Waiting for conditions to improve and using the power Boosts, the championship leader set the two best times and will start at the front both this Saturday and Sunday.

“I saw that all the Carrera Cup drivers were waiting because since it wasn’t raining the track would dry and get faster. Then there was a red flag, it started to get a bit tense, the time was shortened a bit,” he said to the Porsche Cup broadcast.
“I couldn’t do all the clean laps, I ended up aborting one, but in the end I managed to do another, I used two boosts, but those were two activations that guaranteed two very important poles for the championship,” he added.
