Daniel Neumann was the big winner of race 1 of the Porsche Cup Sprint Challenge. Held at Velocitta this Saturday (28), the driver took the lead shortly after the start and thus secured his first triumph of 2026.

The competitor arrived in a curious situation at Mogi Guaçu, as he was tied on points for the lead in the standings with Gerson Campos. But after winning and seeing his opponent finish in fourth, he is now the absolute leader.
And with the result and the first position on the timesheet, Neumann was all celebration in an interview with the official Porsche Cup broadcast after the checkered flag.

“Very good to take the lead here. Interlagos was already a very positive round for us, on the track we couldn’t guarantee the victory, thank God here at Velocitta we managed to guarantee it. Of course, always thinking about the championship, this result is very good for us,” he said.
