Marçal Müller adds another pole position to his career in the Porsche Cup. In the qualifying held this Saturday (28) at Velocitta, the competitor clocked a time of 1min28s046 to take the position of honor on the grid.

This was the 18th pole for the competitor in the single-make category. In Mogi Guaçu, the championship leader and driver of Porsche #544 is carrying 40kg of performance ballast, which he acknowledged is something that affects performance.
“Weight counts for a lot here; it’s a track where we stop a lot and then have to accelerate again, low-speed corners, so it’s heavily penalized by weight,” he told the broadcast after the session.

“But we managed to do a very clean lap, there were things to improve, I don’t even know if I managed to improve the time or not, but I managed to put together great sectors and getting another pole is very good for the championship,” he continued.
With temperatures close to 30ºC, Müller also spoke about whether he has been affected by the heat. “We are well prepared, but we are all feeling the heat quite a bit,” he concluded.
