Marc Márquez was the fastest rider in the first free practice for the Aragón GP, the 13th round of the 2026 MotoGP season. In the session held on the morning of this Friday (28) at MotorLand, Spain, the Ducati rider and current world champion recorded his best lap time of 1min47s532.

Raúl Fernández took second place with an Aprilia from Trackhouse, after being beaten by Márquez by 0.035 seconds. Marco Bezzecchi, with an Aprilia, was the third fastest, followed by Álex Márquez, fourth with a Ducati from Gresini. The top five group also included Pedro Acosta, a KTM rider.
Jack Miller, with a Yamaha from Pramac, was the sixth best in the session, finishing ahead of the VR46 duo, Ducati’s satellite team, which saw Franco Morbidelli finish seventh and Fabio Di Giannantonio eighth. Fermín Aldeguer, with a Ducati from Gresini, was ninth, while Fabio Quartararo, from Yamaha, closed the top 10. Diogo Moreira was 13th with a Honda from LCR.

From 10 a.m., the session will be held to determine the riders who will go directly to Q2 of qualifying, while Saturday will have another free practice, qualifying starting at 5:50 a.m., and the Sprint at 10 a.m. The MotoGP Aragón GP is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Sunday.
