Marc Márquez was the fastest rider in the practice that defined the ten qualifiers directly for the final round of qualifying for the United States GP, the third round of the 2026 MotoGP season. In the activity held late this Friday afternoon (27) at the Circuit of the Americas, the Ducati rider clocked 2min00s927, not being surpassed by his opponents.

Second position went to Ai Ogura, Trackhouse rider, Aprilia’s satellite team, who was surpassed by 0s053 by Márquez. Fabio Di Giannantonio, with a VR46 Ducati, was third, followed by Marco Bezzecchi, championship leader and fourth with Aprilia. The top five group also included Álex Márquez, with a Gresini Ducati.
KTM rider, Pedro Acosta closed the session in sixth position, followed by Jorge Martín, seventh with Aprilia. The top ten group in Austin also included Francesco Bagnaia, from Ducati, Luca Marini, from Honda, and Enea Bastianini, with a Tech3 KTM.

The only Brazilian on the MotoGP grid in the 2026 season, Diogo Moreira had a discreet performance in the session. The LCR rider, Honda’s satellite team, finished the practice with the 17th time. Thus, the rookie rider will be part of Q1 of qualifying.
MotoGP has an intense schedule this Saturday (28). Starting at 12:10 the last free practice takes place, and at 12:50, the qualifying that will determine the starting positions will be held. The Sprint starts at 17:00. The United States MotoGP GP will be held on Sunday with the start at 17:00.
