MotoGP continues the 2026 season this weekend, heading to the Circuit de Barcelona in Spain for the Catalonia GP, the sixth round of the championship. As usual, besides the premier class of the Motorcycle World Championship, Moto2 and Moto3 will also be present at the Montmeló circuit.

In MotoGP, the fight for the championship lead is polarized between the two Aprilia riders, with Marco Bezzecchi leading with 128 points, just one more than Jorge Martín, the second-placed rider and winner of the French GP last week in Le Mans. Fabio Di Giannantonio, with 84, is third, followed by Pedro Acosta with 83, and Ai Ogura with 67.
Moto2 has a slightly more balanced championship, with Manuel González leading with 79.5 points, against 70 for the runner-up, Izán Guevara, winner in Le Mans last weekend. Senna Agius is third with 59, while Celestino Vietti, with 53, is fourth. The top 5 is completed by David Alonso, with 48 points.
In Moto3, Máximo Quiles, winner in Le Mans and with three wins in five races, has a comfortable lead with 115 points. Adrian Fernández, with 69 points, is in second place, followed by Álvaro Carpe, third with 53. Fourth place belongs to Valentín Perrone, with 52 points, while Veda Pratama completes the top five with 50 points.
The MotoGP schedule in Barcelona will open this Friday with free practice sessions and sessions that will determine the riders who advance directly to Q2 qualifying. Saturday will have more free practice, qualifying sessions, and, for the main category, the Sprint. Sunday is reserved for the races. ESPN and Disney+ will broadcast the activities.
