The competitor is an old acquaintance of the category, already having experience in Endurance. Now, this year he will compete in the full Sprint season, where he has already started on the right foot.
This afternoon, after starting from the top-5, he managed to climb through the field and after taking the lead, fighting with Alceu Feldmann, he secured the top step of the podium. Speaking to F1MANIA.NET, he told how it was a tough battle.
“It was a race where I really had to fight. At the start, I went on the inside, tried to force an overtake, there was no space, so I had to hold back a bit and ended up falling to fourth position. I battled a lot with Vivacqua, managed to get back to third, second, and then, at the end, on the restart, first place and then it was that final sprint to put in the maximum pace I had to get this victory,” he said.

In race 1, the driver crossed the finish line in fifth place, also on the podium, but this Sunday, the victory brought a sweeter taste to the champagne.
“For sure. I can’t even describe what I’m feeling. When I was finishing the race it didn’t even seem real, it felt like a dream, which it is, right, the realization of a big dream,” he concluded.
