The son of the former Formula 1 driver is making his debut in racing cars this weekend. And since the first time inside the car he had been performing well, sealing the good start with pole in the class.

Then, in the race, he showed himself to be combative, managed to fight for his space on the track and, thus, crossed the finish line in first place in the Carrera Cup Rookie class – in the overall grid, Pipo received the checkered flag in 20th out of 37 cars.

So, speaking exclusively to F1MANIA.NET after the triumph, Pipo said that “I am very happy. I think I couldn’t imagine better, I managed to get pole and win, as you said, maintaining a good pace during the race, opening up from the second-placed driver. At the end, there was a safety car that brought everyone closer, but I managed to defend and managed to come away with the victory.”

“The feeling is sensational. We secured a victory without crashing, without doing anything. I think the first experience is very good,” he concluded.
