F3: after podium in Sprint, Pedro Clerot leaves Spa in the top-10 of the championship

Rookie in Formula 3 in 2026, Pedro Clerot climbed the podium in Saturday’s Sprint race at Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium, and remains in the top 10 of the championship with Rodin after Sunday’s race. The Brazilian driver started in seventh place in this longer race but faced major challenges from the first lap and finished 14th.

“It was a tough day for us today. Problems at the start and contacts on the first lap pushed us out of the points. It’s hard to accept days like this, especially after a podium on Saturday. We know we have the pace, so I remain confident that our time will come,” says Clerot, who is sponsored by Banco BRB.

Besides the third place at Spa, Clerot has achieved two other podiums so far this season with second place in Austria and third place in Monaco.

The Brasília-born driver has 48 points in six rounds contested, with three more rounds remaining until the end. The championship remains very balanced and the Brazilian is in 10th place, but only ten points behind fourth in the standings.

The next F3 round will be held next weekend at Hungaroring, Hungary, with two more races scheduled.
