The threat of a rain-affected race has weakened ahead of the Belgian Formula 1 GP. The latest forecast indicates a dry track for almost the entire Sunday at Spa-Francorchamps.

Earlier in the week, weather models pointed to a wet weekend in the Ardennes, increasing the possibility of another race affected by weather conditions at the traditional circuit. However, the weather remained much more stable than expected during Friday and Saturday activities.
Despite the presence of clouds and some isolated showers in the region, the track remained predominantly dry, allowing teams to complete their programs without prolonged interruptions. The trend is expected to continue on race day, with fog and low clouds forecast for early morning gradually clearing.

The start is scheduled for 3 PM local time (10 AM Brasília time, GMT -3), with temperatures around 19°C. The forecast points to a mix of sun and clouds, along with light winds, which should not cause major difficulties over the 7.004 km Spa-Francorchamps layout.
Although the circuit is known for presenting different conditions at nearby points on the track, the risk of rain during the 44 laps is considered low. Unless there is a last-minute change, teams should use dry-weather tires, with strategy mainly defined by compound management rather than possible weather changes.
