Noel León won the Formula 2 fourth round Sprint race this Saturday (6), held on the street circuit in Monte Carlo, Monaco. The Campos Racing driver started from pole position and maintained the lead throughout the 30-lap race. The result marks the Mexican’s second victory in 2026, both in the weekend’s short race.

Second place went to Roman Bilinski, the DAMS driver who stayed close to León throughout the race. The podium also featured Gabriele Mini, championship leader and MP Motorsport driver. Joshua Durksen, from Invicta Racing, finished fourth after fending off attacks from Dino Beganovic, who brought the second DAMS car to fifth place.
Martinius Stenshorne, the Rodin Motorsport driver, finished the short race in sixth, followed by Kush Maini, seventh with ART Grand Prix. Brazilian Rafael Câmara completed the points zone in eighth place after starting tenth and gaining two positions at the start. Alexander Dunne, from Rodin, and Nikola Tsolov, from Campos Racing, rounded out the top-10. Emmo Fittipaldi was 17th with AIX Racing.
The race had no incidents or Safety Car deployments, but there was a penalty against Laurens van Hoepen. The Trident driver took advantage of going off track to gain positions in the pack and received a ten-second penalty. As a result, the Dutchman dropped from 15th to 19th place. In terms of overtakes, Mari Boya’s move on Van Hoepen, which was worth 14th place, stood out.
