“When he scrapes the wall five laps from the end and says on the radio ‘check the car,’ you think: ‘seriously? Again? White lines, walls…’; but maybe that’s how he keeps focus,” he continued.
“His youth helps a lot; after all, he is 20 years old. He can stay in this sport for 20 years, with so many opportunities ahead. He exceeds all our expectations, and his own as well. He just lets things flow. I think there is also a genetic factor. Either you are born with this absolute calm, or you are not,” he concluded.
