Max Verstappen has faced a complicated run at the Formula 1 Hungarian GP. After Saturday’s qualifying (25), the Dutchman highlighted that everything was difficult, nothing was positive, and that there is no longer any despair.

In the final phase of qualifying at the Hungaroring, the Red Bull driver ended up spinning and compromising his lap. As a result, he will start only from sixth position on the grid, behind the McLaren duo, Ferrari, and Kimi Antonelli.


Evaluating his performance in Hungary, the four-time F1 champion acknowledged that he had no confidence in the RB22 at any point. “Well, this weekend has been very difficult. Especially in qualifying, there was nothing positive,” he said.

He also highlighted how the phase of feeling despair is already behind him. “No, no despair, that word no longer exists. We have already overcome that. So, let’s move forward and try again tomorrow,” he concluded.
