After four rounds contested in a 22-date calendar, the British team occupies third place in the Constructors’ Championship with 94 points. After a slow start, the Briton won the Sprint in Miami, while both drivers reached the podium on GP Sunday.
Therefore, taking a quick look at the 2026 Formula 1 championship and the rivals, Stella is satisfied with his drivers. “I think we saw at McLaren, so to speak, that in Japan, with a car that was not yet competitive, Oscar was in a position to fight for the win again and secure a podium,” said the Italian.

“Oscar confirmed a podium here [in Miami] and Lando, a win in the sprint and in the fight for the win here. When we look specifically at the constructors’ championship, I think, from the drivers’ point of view, we probably have the strongest duo. We want to capitalize on this strength we have at McLaren, but we need to make the car a little faster.”
