Arvid Lindblad and Yuki Tsunoda arrive at the new Madrid circuit confident after Racing Bulls scored points at the Italian GP. The duo highlighted the complexity of the track and the importance of making the most of every moment of the upcoming weekend at the Spanish Formula 1 GP.

Lindblad stated that returning to scoring points in Monza brought confidence for the next stages. For the driver, the Madrid layout will be especially demanding as it combines many corners, few long straights, and little space for rest at the wheel.
“It’s a very technical layout, so it will be a big challenge for teams and drivers, with a lot to learn and work on,” said Lindblad. He also compared the circuit, after getting to know it on the simulator, to Macau and Jeddah, highlighting that it will be necessary to stay constantly focused.
The young driver also believes that overtaking may be difficult due to the limited number of long straights. Therefore, Lindblad considers it essential to maximize track time from the start to collect data and reach Q1 in a position to aim for a good result.

Tsunoda also highlighted the positive moment after scoring points in Monza and said he is excited about another opportunity in the VCARB 03: “It was a positive result and a great way to gain confidence, so I’m looking forward to carrying this momentum into another race with the team,” he added.
The Japanese driver emphasized that the fact that Madring is a new street circuit increases the complexity of preparation. According to Tsunoda, it will be necessary to build confidence to find the limits of the track and better understand the car, aiming to extract maximum performance and score points again.
