Nico Hülkenberg had a trouble-free day in the free practice sessions for the Formula 1 Hungarian GP. This Friday (24), the German highlighted the different learnings and tests carried out by Audi at the Hungaroring.

In the two activities held at the beginning of the weekend, the competitor completed 59 laps. He also finished the day in ninth place on the standings, two positions above Gabriel Bortoleto, who was 11th.

Therefore, speaking at the end of the activities in Hungary, Hülkenberg highlighted the good day for the German team and emphasized how close the midfield is. “It was a pretty quiet Friday,” he said.

“We worked with the different tire compounds, learned a bit more about the balance, and improved the car’s setup between the two sessions. Overall, I would say it was a positive day,” he continued.
“As expected, the midfield is very balanced again, so every detail will make a difference tomorrow. There’s still a lot at stake, and we’ll aim to put everything together for qualifying,” he concluded.
