Haas had different feelings between its two drivers for the Formula 1 Hungarian GP. While Esteban Ocon spoke of a more positive day on Friday (24), Oliver Bearman highlighted the difficulties he faced.

The Briton was only able to drive in one session, as he handed over his car in FP1 for Ryo Hirakawa to participate in the activity. In the end, in FP2, Ollie finished 15th in the time sheets.
“Today was difficult; I struggled a lot with the feeling of the car, especially compared to last week. Basically, I lost all the confidence I had gained in the last race, so it was a really complicated day. We have a lot to analyze and improve for tomorrow,” he said.

Meanwhile, the French driver was able to make better use of both sessions at Hungaroring, finishing 12th in both the first and second practice sessions. “It was a much better Friday compared to what we had in Spa; the feeling with the car was much better,” he said.
“Lately, we’ve faced a lot of difficulties, but we didn’t have any today, so that was very positive. There are many things on the car that we’ve been waiting for for quite some time. It’s only Friday, so we need to maintain this performance for tomorrow, as we know things can change from one day to the next; therefore, we will try to preserve what we have today. I hope the level of satisfaction and performance will be similar tomorrow. For me, it was the best Friday in a long time,” he concluded.
