Isack Hadjar revealed the aspect that impressed him the most since becoming a teammate of Max Verstappen at Red Bull Racing in the 2026 Formula 1 season. The Frenchman mainly highlighted the four-time world champion’s ability to manage races on Sundays.

Promoted from Racing Bulls after his debut season last year, Hadjar managed to keep a smaller gap to Verstappen in qualifying sessions than the Dutchman’s former teammates. In races, however, the Frenchman acknowledges that the four-time world champion’s advantage has been more evident, something that now appears as one of the main points of evolution for him.
Hadjar admitted that he arrived at Red Bull aware of the challenge of sharing the team with Verstappen: “You arrive and know where you are, so I definitely had some doubts because it’s Max. It’s undeniable that he is great. There was a bit of doubt and pressure, but so far it has gone pretty much as I wanted,” he said.

The Frenchman also positively evaluated his own progress but highlighted that he still needs to improve race management: “I think my one-lap pace has been very good, but the way he manages races is on a different level. That’s what I’m focusing on and working on,” Hadjar concluded.
