This Sunday Marcos Regadas completed the second race of the Porsche Carrera Cup, in Interlagos, in eighth place. The driver from Maranhão who debuts in the main division of the category ends the stage consistently with a double top 10.

Champion of the Carrera Sport class in 2025, Marcos Regadas was ninth in the first race, held on Saturday, climbing eight positions. Starting from ninth place in the second race, Regadas escaped the incidents in the first corner and advanced to eighth place.
The race was very competitive in practically all positions and the driver of car #17 continued gaining ground through the 3,409 meters of the Interlagos racetrack. On the 12th lap Marcos Regadas appeared in seventh place in a pack full of battles for position.
After 16 laps completed, the driver from Maranhão received the checkered flag in eighth and with a consistent performance guaranteed the second top 10 of the season.

“We were coming from a recovery since qualifying. Today we climbed one more position. The Porsche Cup has a very high level, the drivers’ level is very close, everything is very tight and we spent the whole race fighting. It’s great to see this level of event and for us to be in the top 10, nipping at it and scoring points.”
