Matheus Comparatto had his best weekend in sprint events in the Porsche Cup. The 19-year-old from São Paulo was fourth on Saturday and finished Sunday’s race in third place. With the double podium, he left Interlagos in third place in the Carrera Cup points table, in his debut weekend as a Shell V-Power Racing driver.

Sunday’s journey was favored by a very precise start from the sophomore in the event of the most produced racing cars on the planet. Comparatto jumped from fourth on the grid to second place, skillfully navigating the Senna S on the outside.
He then set out to catch leader Alceu Feldmann and the two exchanged activations of the overtake button lap after lap.
The battle favored the arrival of Jeff Giassi, who came to challenge for the lead and was second when the safety car was deployed in the middle of the race.
On the restart, Giassi stuck to the car of the winningest driver in the history of F4 Brazil and dived into the braking zone at the end of the straight. Comparatto tried to fight back, but ran out of overtake buttons at the end and eventually Feldmann also passed the #118, who took the checkered flag in third.

After the first weekend of the Porsche Cup Brazil in 2026, the Brazilian representative in the brand’s last global selection has 41 points. Giassi has 44 and Marçal Muller, winner on Saturday and fourth on Sunday, leads with 46.
The next round of the category takes place at Velocitta on the last weekend of March.
