Rafael Câmara secured pole position for the eighth round of the 2026 Formula 2 season. In the qualifying session held this Friday (17) at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium, the Invicta Racing team driver recorded his best lap time of 1min56s306, earning the top spot for Sunday’s race.

Dino Beganovic, driving for DAMS, will start sixth, while Joshua Durksen, Câmara’s teammate at Invicta, starts seventh, sharing the fourth row with Roman Bilinski, eighth with DAMS. Martinius Stenshorne, from Rodin, and Noel León, from Campos Racing, complete the top 10, with the Mexican starting at the front in the Sprint. Emmo Fittipaldi starts 15th with AIX Racing.

The session featured two red flag stoppages. The first came in the opening minutes with León. Later, in the final moments, Laurens van Hoepen stopped on track.
