The main feeder category for drivers seeking to reach Formula 1, Formula 2 will be broadcast by Sportv channels in the 2026 season. The announcement was made by narrator Everaldo Marques during the opening of the Super Bowl broadcast, the NFL championship, the professional American Football league in the United States, on the night of this Sunday (8).

Marques commented on F1 and F2 being on Globo Channels in 2026 after a comment about the NFL audience in Brazil. The narrator highlighted that the American Football league has its second-largest market outside the United States in Brazil, trailing only Mexico.
Saying that Brazil was “flashing its lights” to overtake Mexico, commentator Antony Curty joked, saying he “was going to say he would open the DRS, but now it’s no longer there.”
Immediately, Marques replied that “Formula 1 is here on Globo, and Formula 2 will also be on Globo and Sportv in its new season,” at the moment the kickoff was given at Lewi’s Stadium, in Santa Clara, California, opening Super Bowl LX.
