After great team driving, Marçal Muller and Gaetano Di Mauro win the first stage of the Porsche Cup Brasil C6 Bank held in Algarve, Portugal. The drivers put Farben, the official automotive paint of the category, at the top of the podium.

The duo started in first place after a great performance in qualifying. Marçal Muller was responsible for the start, facing the challenge of the wet track due to rain that occurred moments before the race began. But the current endurance champion in the Porsche Cup maintained the good start, kept the pace even with the safety car deployment, and handed over the car still in the lead in the third stint.

Gaetano Di Mauro was responsible for the second and final stints, always keeping the #544 car sponsored by Farben at the front of the race. The driver also had to deal with the safety car deployment bunching up all the cars, but managed to hold off pressure from rivals.

In the end, a wire-to-wire victory for the Farben team in the debut of Porsche Endurance. Marçal Muller, last year’s champion with Felipe Fraga, had no trouble bonding with Gaetano Di Mauro. The next Porsche Endurance commitment will be in Goiânia, in early October.
For the Carrera Sprint, Marçal Muller’s next commitment for Farben will be in Interlagos, on September 5 and 6.
