Showing great harmony with car #118 carrying the Shell colors, the two drivers posted top 3 times in their respective qualifying attempts. Since the grid positions are defined by the average of the times, the duo secured second place, starting on the front row tomorrow.

Matheus Comparatto starts the endurance aiming to surpass last year’s result, when he was runner-up in the category. The driver again shows the ability to grow in challenging situations.
Alongside him, Felipe Baptista complements a duo of great speed and maturity. The driver with previous experience in the Porsche Cup and currently in Stock Car also shows good chemistry with the car.
Tomorrow, the race will be 300 km and includes three mandatory driver changes. That is, while one driver will be responsible for the start and third stint, the other will take charge of the second stint and the last one, finishing the race.

What they said:
“We finished the first part of qualifying in P3 and managed to put in a good lap, even though we didn’t reach the lead. I’m confident for tomorrow’s race.”
Matheus Comparatto
“Happy with the result because we managed to put in a good qualifying. It’s a 300 km race, so there’s a lot ahead. We have a good pace and a strong duo, being the youngest in the Carrera. We did a good job even carrying more weight than other cars. We’re going to push to show the power of the younger crowd, to show that the new generation is coming strong.”
Felipe Baptista
