In a very contested practice, the starting grid organization was defined after adding the best times of each driver in the duo. Regadas drove first and set the sixth best time, while Drugovich managed a time very close to the top 10 members.

Marcos Regadas arrives in high form after two great weekends in the Porsche Cup Sprint. The Maranhão native secured pole and podium in Le Mans, combined with two more podiums at the same Algarve circuit, where he raced individually last week.
Drugovich, 2022 F2 champion, is an Andretti driver in Formula E and also arrives in high form after securing last week the pole position for the Shanghai GP of the electric car category.

The two will have 300 km of racing ahead. The stage will feature three mandatory driver changes. That is, while one driver will be responsible for the start and third stint, the other will take charge of the second stint and the last one, finishing the race.

The first endurance stage of the Porsche Cup Brazil will be broadcast live by Band and BandSports, as well as the category’s official channels on YouTube. The race is scheduled to start at 8 a.m., Brasília time.
What they said:
“We had a good qualifying. Drugovich had his lap deleted due to a minimal track limit exceedance and we lost two tenths. My best lap was also compromised, unfortunately someone spun in the first corner and I had to lift for safety. Even so, we qualified very well, finishing in the third row. Expectations are very good and we will push because tomorrow we have a lot to cover.”
