The schedule for the fourth stage of the TCR South America and TCR Brazil, at the Autódromo Internacional de Mato Grosso in Cuiabá, was changed after the postponement of Race 1, initially scheduled for Friday night (19). The race was rescheduled for 12:10 PM this Saturday, while Race 2 will take place as originally planned, starting at 5:10 PM, both local time.

According to the organization, Race 1 had to be postponed due to technical issues and adverse weather conditions. The change occurred after an analysis of the circuit and safety conditions for drivers, teams, and track officials.
Before the decision to postpone, track activities were carried out normally, including the qualifying session. The highlight was Argentine Néstor Girolami, who secured pole position with the Hyundai Elantra N TCR #29 by recording a time of 1min50s089.

Girolami beat Brazilian Raphael Reis by just 88 thousandths, the driver of the Cupra Leon #77 from W2 Pro GP, who will start in second position. Right behind are the Honda representatives: Nelson Piquet Jr. in third place, Tiago Pernía in fourth, and Leonel Pernía in fifth. Completing the top ten qualifiers were Pedro Cardoso, Camilo Trappa, Fabián Yannantuoni, Juan Ángel Rosso, and Erick Schotten.
