Marc Márquez conquered pole position this Saturday (11) for the German GP, the 11th round of the 2026 MotoGP season. In the final phase of qualifying held at the Sachsenring circuit, the Ducati rider recorded his best lap time of 1min19s041, securing the top spot for the third time this year.

The second position went to Álex Márquez, a Ducati rider from Gresini who was beaten by his brother by 0.061 seconds. Fabio Di Giannantonio, with a VR46 Ducati, completes the front row in third place. Raúl Fernández opens the second row in fourth place with an Aprilia from Trackhouse, followed by Ai Ogura, his teammate, and Fabio Quartararo, from Yamaha.
Franco Morbidelli recorded the seventh fastest time with a VR46 Ducati, while Marco Bezzecchi, the championship runner-up, was eighth with an Aprilia despite suffering a heavy crash. Jorge Martín, the championship leader, starts ninth with an Aprilia. Pedro Acosta, from KTM, will start tenth, with Francesco Bagnaia, from Ducati, and Jack Miller, with a Pramac Yamaha, closing out the top 12.

The only Brazilian on the MotoGP grid in the 2026 season, Diogo Moreira will need to make a recovery race. The LCR Honda rider was fifth in Q1, and with this result will start 15th in the Sprint. In the main race, the rider of bike number 11 starts 18th due to a penalty in Friday’s practice for dangerous riding.
Also this Saturday, starting at 10 a.m., the Sprint will be held at Sachsenring. The German MotoGP GP is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. this Sunday.
