Pedro Clerot secures top-10 on first day of F3 testing in Austria

Formula 3 returned to official activity after more than two months. This Wednesday (20), the category’s drivers had the first of two days of testing at the Red Bull Ring in Austria, and Brazilian Pedro Clerot was one of the highlights of the day by placing among the top ten fastest in the combined times of the day with the Rodin Motorsport team car.

Clerot, who is making his debut in the category this year and is in eighth place in the championship after the first double round, was the eighth fastest in the morning session, with a time of 1min20s902, which guaranteed him the ninth best time of the day after the afternoon session.

“I am happy to be back in the car today at the Red Bull Ring. It was a very positive day after almost three months away. We will have one more day of testing tomorrow before we head to the Monaco round,” said Pedro Clerot, who is sponsored by Banco BRB.

Activities at the Red Bull Ring will conclude this Thursday, when Clerot and the other 29 drivers on the grid will undergo two more testing sessions. The next Formula 3 round will be held from June 4 to 7, when the category holds its second round on the street circuit of Monte Carlo, in Monaco.
