A great weekend for Gerson Campos in the Porsche Cup at Interlagos. In the second race of the Challenge class this Sunday (1st), the driver started from sixth, climbed through the field, overtook at the end, and secured his second victory of the 2026 opening round.

Start authorized at Interlagos and Cecilia maintained the first position, while behind, Daniel Neumann made a move on Will Cesar, didn’t want to wait, and was already appearing in third place in the pack.
At the start of the second lap, the lead changed hands on the circuit. At the entry of the Senna S, Sadak Leite attacked Rabelo and managed to leave the opponent behind, heading off in search of victory this Sunday. Neumann followed suit, becoming the new runner-up.
With less than 20 minutes to the checkered flag, the order on track had Sadak leading the pack, with Neumann already glued to his rear, followed by Gerson Campos, winner of race 1, Cecilia, and Caio Castro completing the top five positions.
In the Sport class, Rabelo was heading for his second victory of the weekend, while in the Rookie class, Raphael Bernardes was chasing the win.
A few laps later, with the clock approaching 15 minutes to the end of the contest, Daniel managed to make the overtake to take first place. Leite tried to regain the position, but Gerson was also pressing for second place.

With less than seven minutes remaining in the second Porsche Cup Challenge race, the top four positions remained unchanged. The only change came in fifth place, now occupied by Will Cesar.
In the final stretch with almost no time left on the clock, Gerson dove inside at the entry of the Senna S and, in doing so, managed to pass Neumann. With this, he became the race leader almost at the finish.
On the last lap, everything was wide open. Neumann stuck to the back of Campos and the fight for the win was intense. It turned out the pair were under investigation for an incident near the end of the contest.
Checkered flag and the one who secured the win was Gerson Campos, two wins in two races. Neumann, Sadak, Cecilia, and Cesar completed the podium. Rabelo won in Sport and Bernardes in Rookie.
