In the Rookie class, Pipo managed to secure another good result and is close to winning the title in his debut year in the Porsche Cup. Speaking to F1MANIA.NET about the race, he said, “Well, we start under the safety car, so the race already begins under safety. Then it restarted, we did about two laps under green flag and unfortunately the safety car came back. The conditions were not the best, it got to the point where I couldn’t see what was in front of me, I couldn’t see the car ahead.”

“And then, unfortunately a decision that, in my opinion, was wrong, to resume the race and unfortunately resulted in a big crash. Fortunately, everyone is fine, but it was a big scare, I was back there, almost got involved in the incident too,” he continued.

“But that’s it, today for the championship it was very good, a second place, we just need to score three more points than my rival to be champion already in the next race, so we’re fighting for that. Qualifying was good, we will start 12th, still a bit more for us. And then, ‘let’s go’,” he concluded.
