The last Dutch Formula 1 GP, which will take place next weekend, will have a special attraction off the track. DJ Martin Garrix will be responsible for leading the closing show in Zandvoort, at a party planned to mark the category’s farewell to the circuit.

Formula 1 will leave Zandvoort and the Netherlands after the 2026 season and will not return to the venue from 2027 onwards. Therefore, the organizers intend to close the category’s passage through the circuit with a special event, having Garrix as the main attraction in the closing show.
This farewell will also have packed grandstands. Tickets for Saturday and Sunday had already been sold out since April, while at the time, only tickets for Friday, dubbed Super Friday, remained, according to information previously released by the organizers.
Dutch driver Max Verstappen had already commented on Zandvoort’s exit from the F1 calendar from 2027 onwards. The Red Bull Racing driver highlighted that the circuit will continue to host other categories and could be used for track days, emphasizing that he will still have the opportunity to drive there, even without a Formula 1 race.

“I just want to enjoy this with the fans. It is incredibly impressive what they did to bring it back, and I think that, at the time they held the first race, it was a great example for many other GPs on how to organize and entertain,” said Verstappen.
The four-time world champion also regretted the circuit’s exit from the F1 calendar but reminded that the circuit will continue to exist: “It’s a shame, but on the other hand, the track is still there and I’m sure I’ll still complete many laps there. It is what it is,” concluded Verstappen.
