Jorge Martín conquered pole position this Saturday (8) for the GP of England, the 12th round of the 2026 MotoGP season. In the final moments of qualifying held at the Silverstone circuit, the Aprilia rider recorded 1min56s160, securing the honor position for both this afternoon’s Sprint and the main race, scheduled for Sunday.

Second position went to Raúl Fernández, a Trackhouse Aprilia rider who was beaten by the championship leader by 0.021 seconds. Ai Ogura, Fernández’s teammate and second in the points standings, completes the front row in third place. Fabio Di Giannantonio starts fourth with a VR46 Ducati, followed by Marco Bezzecchi, fifth with an Aprilia, and Marc Márquez, who closes the top 6 with a Ducati.
Álex Márquez will start from seventh position with a Gresini Ducati, opening a third row that also includes Franco Morbidelli, who passed Q1 and races with a VR46 Ducati, and Pedro Acosta, ninth with a KTM. Iker Lecuona, with a Gresini Ducati, was the tenth fastest, with Jack Miller, a Pramac rider and Yamaha satellite team member, in 11th. Joan Mir, from Honda, closes the list of the top 12 on the grid.

Among the riders who did not advance to the qualifying round, Fabio Quartararo will start 13th with Yamaha, while Diogo Moreira, a Brazilian from LCR Honda, starts 14th. Francesco Bagnaia had his worst starting position of the year and will begin the races from 16th place with Ducati.
Also this Saturday, starting at noon, the Sprint will be held. The MotoGP GP of England starts at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
