The Brazilian Rafael Câmara achieved fourth place in the Sprint race that opened the ninth round of the 2026 Formula 2 season, held this Saturday morning (25) at the Hungaroring circuit in Hungary. The Invicta Racing driver started from ninth position and advanced five places to secure his seventh top-5 in this year’s championship.

Starting in ninth, Câmara made an aggressive start and advanced three positions in the initial meters, taking sixth place. From then on, the Ferrari Driver Academy member began to battle for a place in the top-5, always close to his opponents. An accident involving the Brazilian’s main rival in the title fight caused Rafael to gain two more positions, finishing in fourth.
After this Saturday’s Sprint race in Hungary, Câmara added five more points, reaching 130 in the championship standings. The Invicta Racing driver remains in third position in the standings, now 31 points behind the leader.

The Hungarian round of Formula 2 will conclude this Sunday (26) with the main race, which starts at 6:25 AM. The race will be broadcast live on Sportv, Globoplay, and F1TV.
