The round will be fundamental for the dispute for the continental title and will also define the TCR Brazil champion before the rest of the calendar in Argentina and Uruguay.

After four rounds, Leonel Pernía leads the TCR South America championship with 207 points. Raphael Reis, Camilo Trappa, Néstor Girolami, and Juan Ángel Rosso remain among the main title contenders and arrive at the São Paulo circuit looking for a recovery in the standings.

The TCR South America schedule at Velocitta begins on Friday, July 24, when drivers participate in the two free practice sessions of the day: the first takes place from 13:00 to 13:30 and the second from 15:30 to 16:10.

Saturday will be marked by the grid definition and the first race of the round. The TCR South America broadcast will open at 9:15 AM, before Qualifying 1, which takes place from 9:25 AM to 9:45 AM. Qualifying 2, reserved for the top 12 finishers from the first session, will be held from 9:55 AM to 10:05 AM.
The broadcast of Race 1 will start at 4:30 PM, followed by the warm-up lap at 4:40 PM, with the start at 4:43 PM, lasting 25 minutes plus one lap.

The decision of the round takes place on Sunday. The broadcast starts at 2:00 PM, while the warm-up lap takes place at 2:10 PM. Race 2 will start at 2:13 PM, lasting 30 minutes plus one lap. The race will have an inverted grid among the top ten finishers from qualifying and concludes TCR South America’s participation in Velocitta.
The TCR Brazil title fight arrives at the São Paulo circuit with four drivers still in contention. Raphael Reis and Leonel Pernía appear as the main candidates, separated by just three points. Enzo Gianfratti and Pedro Cardoso also still have mathematical chances, but need a perfect performance and depend on a combination of results to win the championship.
In the team dispute, W2 Pro GP arrives as the leader and tries to confirm the title, while Honda Racing seeks to prevent their rival’s victory. G Racing Motorsport and Paladini Racing still have mathematical possibilities in the decision.
