The arrival of the model is part of the Uruguay Racing Team’s evaluation process for the 2027 season. The team is studying the possibility of making a brand change and expanding its options within TCR South America. In this scenario, the Elantra N TCR will be used as a new technical alternative, allowing the team to get to know the car and analyze its competitive potential before defining the project for next year.

“I am very excited to start this new stage with the Hyundai Elantra N TCR. I want to thank the entire Uruguay Racing Team for the trust and the enormous work to make this new challenge possible. These races will be very important to get to know the car, understand its operation, and collect information that allows us to evaluate the path forward thinking about 2027,” said Joaquín Cafaro.
