The Londrina (PR) stage of the Copa Truck yielded a podium for Tito Giaffone this Sunday (23), after the Full Time Sports driver finished the last of the two races of the day in third place in the Challenge category at the Autódromo Internacional Ayrton Senna. In addition, the driver secured a tenth place overall.

In a weekend in which he led one of the free practice sessions, Tito had to climb through the pack in the second race to reach the Challenge podium, recovering from a first race where an incident took away the chances of a good result, as he was advancing through the pack, making one of the most beautiful overtakes of the weekend.

“This last race was really good for the championship in terms of points. We started 21st and ended up tenth overall and third in my category, so it was really good to try to stay in the championship. And really the weekend was full of ups and downs, we couldn’t find a consistent rhythm, and then for the race we found a setup that improved the pace a lot,” said Tito Giaffone, who is sponsored by PX.
