Lando Norris won the Dutch GP and achieved his second victory of the 2026 Formula 1 season. The triumph was also the 13th of his career and marked the second time the Briton stood atop the podium in Zandvoort.

The result had historical significance. Norris became the first driver since 1985 to win in Zandvoort without starting from pole position. On that occasion, Niki Lauda won starting only from tenth place. For McLaren, it was the second victory of the year and the team’s third consecutive win at the Dutch circuit.
Kimi Antonelli also extended an impressive streak by achieving his tenth podium of the season. The Mercedes driver only missed the top 3 in the races where he had car problems. George Russell, third place, returned to the podium after second place at the British GP and also surpassed Lewis Hamilton in the championship, regaining second place in the standings.
Ferrari finished with both its drivers in the top five, with Hamilton and Charles Leclerc securing the top 5. Max Verstappen had a difficult Sunday and retired for the fourth time this year. The Red Bull driver also did not finish the races in China, Monaco, and England.

Audi maintained its scoring streak and reached its fourth consecutive race inside the top 10. Nico Hülkenberg finished eighth in Zandvoort and secured more points for the team.
The race also had the first red flag in Zandvoort since 2023. The circuit, which leaves the calendar in 2027, recorded at least one Safety Car deployment in 2022, 2023, 2025, and 2026. The only races entirely under green flag since the track’s return were the 2021 and 2024 editions.
