NASCAR Brazil concludes this weekend the regular season of this year’s championship by visiting the only oval on the calendar, located at the Circuito dos Cristais, in Curvelo (MG). Full Time team driver Tito Giaffone heads to the interior of Minas Gerais aiming for good results to advance in the Challenge class standings, where he comes from a podium finish in the Londrina stage.

The driver of car number 15 seeks to return to the top five group of the Challenge class championship in a weekend that will offer 75 points to competitors, with 25 in qualifying and 25 more in each of the two races. Tito reached a podium place in both races during last year’s visit to Curvelo, with a fourth place, and expects an even more positive result upon returning to the oval circuit.
“We are going to Curvelo this weekend, a circuit where we reached the podium last year, and it will be important to perform well from the practice sessions. Although it is an oval, it is a difficult track to make overtakes. I trust the team’s work and we are going for more podiums,” said Tito Giaffone, who is sponsored by XP.

NASCAR Brazil activities in Curvelo will start this Friday with free practice 1 at 3:45 PM. The second session is scheduled for 10:10 AM on Saturday and on the same day qualifying will take place at 3:15 PM. Race 1 will be held at 9 AM and race 2 is scheduled for 2:10 PM. SBT, ESPN, Disney+ and YouTube will broadcast the event.
