The 2026 TCR Brasil season will be decided this weekend, between July 24 and 26, at the Velocitta Racetrack, in Mogi Guaçu (SP), with four drivers still in contention for the championship. The final round will distribute 85 points between qualifying and the two races, putting Raphael Reis, Leonel Pernía, Enzo Gianfratti, and Pedro Cardoso in the fight for the trophy.

Raphael Reis arrives at the decision as the championship leader, with 228 points, just three ahead of Leonel Pernía, who has 225. Enzo Gianfratti is in third, with 149 points, while Pedro Cardoso occupies fourth position, with 143. Despite the distance to the leaders, the two G Racing Motorsport drivers still have mathematical chances.

The TCR Brasil regulations do not provide for discards. In case of a tie in the final score, the title will be decided by the number of victories. If the tie persists, second places will be considered, then third places, and so on.
Raphael Reis depends only on his own result to win the championship. The W2 Pro GP driver needs to finish the season with at least one point advantage over Pernía or extend the difference during the weekend. Another possibility is to win all 85 available points in the round.
The dispute requires attention because Leonel Pernía has an advantage in the first tie-breaking criterion, with three victories in the season against Raphael’s one. Therefore, the Brazilian cannot finish tied in points with the Argentine. Reis can also eliminate Pedro Cardoso with just one point scored and prevent Enzo Gianfratti from reaching his score if he scores seven points in the round.

On the other hand, Leonel Pernía needs to cut the three points that separate him from the leader. The Argentine will be champion if he finishes tied with Raphael, precisely because of the advantage in the number of victories, or if he scores four more points than his rival throughout the weekend.

Pernía can also remove competitors from the dispute before the end of the round. With four points in Saturday’s race, Pedro Cardoso loses mathematical chances, while ten points scored eliminate Enzo Gianfratti.
For Enzo, the mission is more difficult. The G Racing Motorsport driver needs to score at least 80 of the 85 available points, win one of the two races, and count on a low score from the leaders. With 85 points, he would reach 234 and would be champion if Raphael scored a maximum of five points and Leonel a maximum of eight. With 82 points, he would need Raphael to score up to two points and Leonel up to five. With 80 points, he would depend on Raphael scoring zero and Pernía with a maximum of three points.
Any score below 80 eliminates Enzo from the dispute, even if Raphael Reis does not score points at Velocitta.
Pedro Cardoso arrives with the most complicated scenario among the four candidates. The G Racing Motorsport driver needs to win qualifying and both races, in addition to hoping that Raphael Reis does not score, Leonel Pernía scores a maximum of three points, and Enzo Gianfratti does not exceed 79 points.
Even with the maximum score of 85 points, Pedro would reach 228, exactly Raphael Reis’ current score before the decision. Therefore, the driver would not be able to finish the season alone in the lead based solely on his own performance. If this unlikely combination occurs, the champion will be defined by the tie-breaking criteria.
